"Violence deeply divides the minds and hearts"

Enough is enough
We are sick and tired of this violence
The bloodshed that is taking place in our community
Let us be sure South Africans
That there will be no child left an orphan
No man a widower
No woman a widow
No homelessness in our community
No man rob of its fathers, mothers, children and entire nation

Our communities have prayed
Our artists have sung peace songs
Our leaders have done their bit with peace accords signed and resolution set up
Our leaders have done humanly possible to end this violence
Dr Clearance Makwetu1 has spoken about this violence
Dr Pandelani Nehvoldhvondwe2 has added his voice
Dr Nelson Mandela has spoken about this violence in our midst

Yes let us not be used as preperators of death and destruction
Let us not be used as toothless lions of violence
Let us not be used as perpetrators of violence
Yes some of us violence deeply penetrates the hearts and the minds of the many
