Harman, Francois

Harman studied at Potchefstroom University where he commenced his career as a lecturer. He then was a teacher at the Koster High School in Potchefstroom, after which he was appointed Head of Department of African Languages at the College of Education for Further Training. During the ten years he spent there he was also involved at UNISA and at Pretoria University as a part-time lecturer.

He then decided to take up farming and writing and started teaching in Zeerust. He became Principal of the black high school in Zeerust in July 1992.
