Irvine, George

George Irvine came from Ireland to candidate for the Methodist Church of Southern Africa. He was Bishop of the Grahamstown District and thereafter was appointed Bishop of the Natal Coastal District of the MCSA.

He is at present chairperson of the South African AIDS Foundation and is Director of the Institute for Spirituality, Wholeness and Reconciliation.

He lives in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape and travels widely, teaching in local churches.
