This resource is hosted by the Nelson Mandela Foundation, but was compiled and authored by Padraig O’Malley. It is the product of almost two decades of research and includes analyses, chronologies, historical documents, and interviews from the apartheid and post-apartheid eras.

Dadoo, Dr Yusuf

President of the Transvaal Indian Congress and head of the South African Indian Congress (SAIC), Dadoo was one of the leaders of the CPSA and part of 'The Doctors' Pact' with Dr Naicker and A B Zuma in 1947.

He went into exile in the early 1960s but continued his work with the SACP and the ANC in London. He died in 1983.
