Mkwayi, Wilton

(Died 2004)

Mkwayi was arrested in 1964. He appeared in the "Little Rivonia" trial with Mac Maharaj, where he described himself as a 'professional agitator'. After the Rivonia trial he became head of MK and went for military training in China. He was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment and sent to Robben Island. After his release he retired to the Eastern Cape.
