1950. Immorality Amendment Act No 21

This is an amendment of the IMMORALITY ACT of 1927, which forbade extra- marital sexual relations between Whites and Blacks.

This amendment forbade such relations between Whites and Coloureds (Riley 1991: 20). See also the IMMORALITY ACT of 1957, which forbade any sexual relations between Whites and non-Whites.

Price (1991: 116) mentions that parts of this was repealed in 1986.
