This resource is hosted by the Nelson Mandela Foundation, but was compiled and authored by Padraig O’Malley. It is the product of almost two decades of research and includes analyses, chronologies, historical documents, and interviews from the apartheid and post-apartheid eras.

Bishop, Bruce

Bishop was schooled at Michaelhouse in Natal. He speaks Zulu and Xhosa.

He served in SADF in South West Africa (Namibia) where he was wounded.

He then worked for South African Paper and Pulp Industries (Sappi) during which time he made story dramas on film of the whole industrial relations situation in South Africa from 1978. He helped resolve strikes at Sappi.

He obtained his degrees through UNISA.
