Ngakane, Nomsa

Nomsa is the daughter of Dr Albertina Luthuli and Dr Pascal Ngakane; granddaughter of Chief Albert Luthuli. She was born in Natal.

The family were seriously harassed after the death of Chief Luthuli and in 1970 they moved to England. In 1975 they moved to Lesotho, when Nomsa was 13. She continued her high school education in Lesotho.

She spent some years in Zimbabwe with her mother during the eighties and returned to South Africa in 1991.
