Whitehead, John

John Whitehead was born in South Africa and educated at Rhodes University in Grahamstown.

He moved into personnel in 1984 at the Ford Motor Company, and about a year and a half later went to De Beers Consolidated Mines in the Northern Cape, and then went to Dorbel in the Eastern Cape which is the largest private company in the metal industry, then employing some 30,000 employees. His interest is industrial relations.
