Cameron, Edwin

Cameron obtained the following degrees: -

BA Hons (Stellenbosch) 1975,

LLB (Unisa) 1981

BCL, MA (Oxford) 1978 and 1982.

He practiced as an Advocate in Johannesburg from 1983 until 1994.  He was Researcher and Professor at the Wits Centre for Applied Legal Studies from 1986 until 1994.

He was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court where he served from 1999 until 2000 when he became a Judge of the Appeal Court.

He is active and outspoken in the fight against AIDS.
